class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Valenciennes M\u00e9tropole, FRANCE<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vert-setec-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4\"><strong>Context<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its objectives under its territorial climate-air-energy plan (PCAET), the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valenciennes-metropole.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Metropole of Valenciennes<\/a> Its objectives are to double the carbon storage in biomass and in the soil on its territory by 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The metropolis of Valenciennes has turned to setec \u00e9nergie environnement as a Project Management Assistant to establish the medium- and long-term strategy for the rewilding of the territory, allowing it to achieve the PCAET objective while also valorizing the co-benefits of the rewilding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-bleu-fonc-setec-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5\"><strong>DETAILED MISSIONS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As an engineering consultancy, we have carried out the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quantifying the carbon stored in natural environments and the amount to be stored to meet the objectives of the PCAET;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Categorizing the territory according to different criteria (risk zones for urban heat islands (ICU), proximity to green and blue areas, etc.);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inventorying the areas of interest for re-naturalization that can lead to co-benefits;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Propose a medium- and long-term strategy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restoring and politically animating the strategy among 35 communes in the territory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section
