Nature Energy

2022 – 2023

France

Powered by Nature Energy in partnership with the cooperative Dijon Céréales, The project SECALIA The project aims to produce biomethane from energy-producing intermediate crops (CIVE) and agricultural by-products. The installation processes nearly 200,000 tons of material per year and allows the injection of 230 GWh of biomethane per year into the network. This project is part of an agroecological transition approach involving 155 affiliated farmers from the cooperative, thus contributing to the development of local renewable energy and the sustainable valorization of the agricultural resources of the territory.

As part of its assistance mission to the client (AMO), setec énergie environnement supports the connection of the utilities necessary for the site to operate:

  • Qualification and consolidation of utility needs;
  • Operational follow-up of connections and updating of the schedule;
  • Coordination of exchanges with the managers of electric and telecommunications networks;
  • Analysis of the studies produced by the concessionaires and the project manager;
  • Issuance of technical opinions to ensure the safety of design choices;
  • Interface between network managers, the project manager and public authorities responsible for road improvements.
Challenge

The main challenge of the project is to ensure the availability of all the utilities necessary for the commissioning of a very large-capacity methane unit, in a context involving numerous stakeholders with distinct technical and calendar constraints.
