Context
To support the territorial energy transition, Grand Poitiers It wished to have a clear and ambitious strategy for the development of its heating network.
The mission entrusted to setec énergie environnement is part of a R&D partnership between Grand Poitiers and Efficiency, aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the territory through advanced simulation tools.
The study was carried out in close consultation with the community and the network operator to ensure the consistency of the guidelines and the continuity of service for users.
DETAILED MISSIONS
As part of this partnership, we have carried out the following tasks:
- Definition of the study area and establishment of the steering committee;
- Contractual, technical, economic and environmental diagnosis of the existing network;
- Projections for 2030: evolution of needs, analysis of the local RES & R resource base, detection of buildings that can be connected to the grid, scenarios for expansion;
- Analysis of the possible contractual developments of the DSP perimeter;
- Detailed techno-economic simulation of the chosen scenario, with modeling using the PowerDIS and EnergyMapper tools: Comparative study of different relevant network extensions on the network.
