Context
The agglomeration community of the Grand Sénonais, the Waste Association of the Centre Yonne accompanied by the Commune of communes Yonne Nord and Puisaye-Forterre They decided to carry out a feasibility study for an Energy Valorization Unit (UVE) for waste.

The end of operation of the current Household Waste Incineration Unit (UIOM) in Sens, the low energy recovery of the existing site, the reduction in landfill capacities provided for by the PRPGD and the SRADDET, as well as the increase in the general tax on polluting activities (TGAP), have led the territorial communities to engage in a strategic reflection.
These communities have entrusted us with their support Parme Lawyers, The implementation of a feasibility study for the development of a new Energy Valorization Unit that meets the technical, economic and legal needs of the territory.
DETAILED MISSIONS
We have accomplished the following tasks:
- Assessment of the landfill site for non-combustible waste (perimeter, volumes, composition, exchanges with public intermunicipal cooperation facilities (EPCIs), temporal evolution, constraints for valorization);
- Analysis of energy valorization potentials (existing RCUs, possible extensions, study of new needs);
- Development of five technical and economic scenarios (captable reservoirs, discharge outlets);
- Comparison and synthesis of the scenarios (technical, economic, legal).
