Context
The wind farm in the sea of Dieppe–Le Tréport, Located off the coast of Normandy and the Hauts-de-France, it is part of the French projects to develop renewable marine energies. It will contribute to the energy transition while being located in an area with high ecological and fisheries issues, requiring in-depth knowledge of the environment.
Baseline studies and environmental monitoring were planned from the outset to characterize the marine habitats and populations, and to assess the potential impacts of the project during the construction and operational phases.

DETAILED MISSIONS
Setec énergie environnement is implementing a multidisciplinary program to monitor marine ecosystems during construction in order to measure and assess the potential effects of the works on the marine environment.
The services provided include:
- the monitoring of fishery resources and benthic populations using various sampling techniques (traps, nets, dredges);
- the monitoring of ichthyoplankton (fish eggs and larvae);
- the monitoring of phytoplankton and zooplankton. These works also integrate HSSE obligations and the production of associated scientific deliverables.
